How to use it
Three steps to your first total.
It takes a few minutes to set up.
Download and open
Open the file in Excel or Numbers. For Google Sheets, upload it to Google Drive and open it with Google Sheets.
Add your clients
On the Clients tab, type each client’s name and hourly rate.
Log your hours
On the Timesheet tab, add the date, client, task, start and end, or just the hours. The Summary tab adds them up.
Questions about the template.
Is the template free?
Yes. Download it, change it and use it for any client. There’s nothing to sign up for.
Does it work in Google Sheets?
Yes. Upload the file to Google Drive and open it with Google Sheets; the formulas work there as they do in Excel and Numbers.
Can I log time without a start and an end?
Yes. Type the hours straight into the Hours column, like 1.5 for an hour and a half. The amount still fills in.
Which currency does it use?
Amounts are formatted in US dollars. For another currency, change the number format of the Rate and Amount columns.
Can Hourbloom fill it in for me?
